De tweede oproep tot Bi-regional coordination of S&T Cooperation FP7-INCO-2009-1 wil een aanvulling zijn op de eerste oproep FP7-INCO-2007-1.
Enkel die regio's die toen niet in aanmerking kwamen, of die na afloop van de oproep onvoldoende afgedekt bleven, worden deze keer geviseerd:
- Arabic Gulf countries
- Caribbean region
- Central amerika region
- Pacific region
- South Caucasus and Central Asian region
De oproep opent op 3 september 2008, sluit af op 12 januari 2009 en heeft 7,4 M€ beschikbaar. De EU-financiering per projectvoorstel bedraagt 1,4 tot 2 M€, afhankelijke van de regio.
