Het ENCITE project lanceert een competitive call voor bijkomende partners
ENCITE (European network for Cell Immaging and Tracking Expertise) is een geïntegreerd project gefinancierd in het kader van KP7 health. Het consortium bestaat uit 21 partners uit 10 landen met expertise op het vlak van cell imaging en wordt gecoördineerd door het European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research. Zij zoeken bijkomende partners voor de uitvoering van taken in de volgende onderzoeksdomeinen:
- Development of novel imaging techniques for cell tracking
- Visualisation of the localisation of stem/precursor cells in the spinal cord; Monitoring of changes in their functional state “in vivo” including differentiation
- Development of novel reporter genes and generating reporter mice for in vivo imaging (iron protein transporter MRI reporters, magnetite synthesis MRI reporters)
- Development of novel approaches for imaging cell death (extracellular MRI contrast agents for detection of cell death, endogenous contrast MRI markers of cell death)
- Pre-clinical and/or clinical validation of novel imaging techniques for cell tracking in cardiovascular disease, in particularmyocardial infarction (tracking of transplanted cells, assessment of myocardial regeneration)
- Visualisation of cellular activity in cancer patients
- Sequences for the visualization of SPIO labelled cells (pancreatic islets) transplanted to patients at clinical scanners
